We are a privately run early years setting based on the Grangehurst Primary School site, offering the warmth and personal feel of a private preschool while building positive links with the school to help support children's confidence, familiarity and transition into Reception.
Our approach is centred around learning through play, strong relationships and helping children feel happy, confident and ready to learn.

Hi, I'm Dina, the owner and Preschool Manager of Golden Roots Preschool at Grangehurst.
Golden Roots is very special to me as it brings together my love for early years, my connection to the Longford community, and my passion for creating a warm, nurturing preschool where children feel safe, happy and valued. I believe children learn best through play, curiosity and meaningful experiences that allow them to explore the world around them with confidence.
Owner and Business Director
Hi, I'm Mo, co owner of Golden Roots Preschool at Grangehurst.
While my wife Dina leads the daily care, learning and management of the preschool, my role is mainly behind the scenes. I support the finance, business planning and operational side of the setting, helping to make sure Golden Roots runs smoothly and has strong foundations for the future.
Outside of preschool life, we love spending time outdoors and exploring nature with our white Golden Retriever, Tyson. At home, we also have our beautiful Snowshoe cat, Mila, and the two of them have formed the sweetest bond.
We enjoy spending quality time with our family and friends. Dina loves swimming, reading and gardening, and especially enjoys being outdoors, spending time in nature and finding calm in the simple things. Mo has a passion for football and art, particularly creating portrait artwork in his spare time.
We are football fans in our home, although we can be rivals at times. Dina supports Arsenal and Mo supports Chelsea. Thankfully, we always come together when supporting our local team, Coventry City. Sky Blue Army!
Our own family roots are an important part of who we are. Mo has Nigerian roots, and Dina was born in the UK with Bosnian roots. We are passionate about celebrating different cultures, backgrounds and traditions, and we want Golden Roots to be a place where every child and family feels welcomed, respected and valued.
At Golden Roots, we believe that the earliest years of a child's life are incredibly important. A secure, nurturing beginning helps children grow in confidence, feel a strong sense of belonging and develop the foundations they need as they begin their journey in life.
